The Salmon Watersheds Program’s work on the Central Coast of B.C. was featured in the latest issue of the Salmon Steward, the Pacific Salmon Foundation’s quarterly magazine.

The article covers the decline of salmon on the Central Coast and the impacts this has on the Indigenous communities that depend on them. To support First Nations-led monitoring we worked with the Central Coast Nations and the Central Coast Indigenous Resource Alliance to improve access to baseline data and develop tools to assess the state of Pacific salmon and their habitats in the region.
