This habitat report card is part of a 2013 project that performed a broad-scale evaluation of the vulnerability of Skeena salmon Conservation Units (CUs) to regional habitat threats and pressures.

The project produced individual habitat report cards for each CU to summarize the location and intensity of pressures on migration, spawning and rearing habitats. This supplementary ‘Skeena Estuary’ report card shows information that is important for all Skeena salmon CUs. All Skeena salmon spend part of their life in the estuary, and depend on its health as juveniles and returning adults.

More information about this project can be found here, including links to all report cards, an interactive online map, and a report that describes the full project methods and results.
