This report and appendices summarize available information on steelhead trout populations in British Columbia. Together, they provide a brief overview of steelhead life history, stock and conservation unit descriptions, management objectives and population status/trend information. In many instances information on a specific system is lacking but where it exists it has been compiled into individual watershed summaries. An analysis of the Steelhead harvest data is also provided. Most information has been compiled into databases and is available on request. This report builds on the work undertaken in the Greater Georgia Basin Steelhead recovery plan and expands the format to a provincial scale.
